Wear protection means climate protection too

We don‘t just talk about it. We do it!

Wear optimisation is not just about increasing the service life of components and the resulting reduction in plant downtimes, it also makes a significant contribution to energy saving and hence to environmental protection. The manufacture of highly wear-resistant components in small quantities as against the mass production of conventional lower component grades greatly reduces CO2 output in foundries. This energy saving is reflected in the low quantities of long-lasting components, in machining, in hardening and tempering and ultimately in reduced transport volumes. So wear protection is also climate protection in the form of energy saving at the highest level.
